The Salon 'Tis the season ... A GIVEAWAY, Etsy and discounts, oh my!
Like me, I am sure that many of you are LOVING Etsy. Just when I think that I've seen it all, I find a new vendor offering something that I never would have imagined in my wildest dreams. Today, I am sharing a few of my favorite Etsy shops with a focus on clothing and accessories, as well as a GIVEAWAY and SUPER DISCOUNTS.

- Thimble Kiss -- Katie, of Thimble Kiss, and I have been bloggy friends for many years. I was beyond thrilled and impressed when she began creating flower hair pieces, headbands, and brooches. Are you planning a wedding? Imagine all of your bridesmaids wearing these flowers in their hair ... beautiful, unique, and a grand statement. These are also great gifts for the fashionista who seemingly has everything. - Kanokwalee -- This Etsy shop offers nature-inspired wearable art, particularly in the form of AMAZING all-season scarves, cowls, and lariats. I'm drooling over the Enchanted Forest Lariat and this Fern Frond Scarf. The owner of this store has been kind enough to offer a 10% discount to colonists. The code is "women colony" (put in 'seller note' at checkout) and is good Friday until midnight. Oh, and FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE through November 30!!
- Made for an Angel -- This is one of my favorite jewelry designers on Etsy and, sadly, I don't yet own a piece. Louise makes her stunning sterling silver jewelry at a studio in the South East of Ireland. (So, if you live in the US, order your pieces soon to ensure prompt delivery.) My faves? Rainbow ring and Lolite and flowers pendant and chain. There's a large variety of pieces, so please get yourself over there and take a gander.
- A Secret Shop -- I sometimes sell vintage items on Etsy, so finding this VINTAGE CLOTHING shop is a real sweet treat. Um, not to mention ... the prices are easy on the pocketbook. I mean, look at this green mohair cardigan. Divine. (Maybe I'll buy it. Hrm.) Or, THIS? Dear Burgundy Slouch Sweater, I love you.

I'm loving the adorable hair accessories on Etsy. I buy feltedwool clips and giant flowers to put in my 3 year old's hair. Love it!

I bought my first item from etsy last week: a felted wool owl from persnickety pelican. "Oxley the Owl" is beyond sweet! Oooooo, I just love Etsy, I absolutely do! :).

I started my xmas shopping on Etsy last week. I love that the things I buy there are truly unique. Happy holidays!
My latest favorite is gigglepotamus (more pics at www.gigglepotamus.com). Lauren has branched out from adorable baby hats into these wonderful pieces with words on houses. I'm coveting one with a Velveteen Rabbit theme.
Decided that i need to check out etsy, i love shopping on line!
I am an etsy junkie! I hope to soon be selling my own artistic creatations on there as well. While I, sadly, have been out at stores this black Friday, I plan to spend this evening doing my favorite shopping at etsy!
And the flower is gorgeous. Don't you just love how etsy shoppers are not cookie cutter clones of each other? I love that.

Thanks so much for the feature, Jodi! I jumped in my seat when I came to the website and saw my big head right on the homepage! haha. I'm really glad everyone seems to like the flowers and I'm so excited to be giving one away to this awesome group of women! I love browsing through etsy, but I haven't bought anything yet because there are so very many cool things to look at that my mind implodes before I actually decide on what to get.
I have a couple a friends that sell jewelry and knitting on etsy, but have never been fortunate enough to buy anything...Yet!:)
